Our Story...

Lobstermen Tours was launched in June of 2001 as a pilot project after a number of years of planning. Our first season was very successful and exceeded our expectations as a new and unique tourism venture. A key objective from the beginning was to create an experience through the tour that would appeal to a broad range of people, both young and old. The feedback from that first season was so positive and supportive that after just a few weeks of operation we gained enough confidence to state... Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Many of the comments we have received since starting the tour are reflected in the following email we recently received:

"Barry and Jason

Just a quick note to say Thank You for a wonderful experience for us this past summer (early August) when we took a tour with you guys. I don't know if you remember us or not.. my wife's name is Heidi and she is originally from Lunenburg now from B.C. and our two sons Jake and Liam. ...2 and 3 years old. They have not stopped talking about both of you since getting off the boat. We of course are long back in B.C. from our vacation back there, yet both of the boys are still talking about Barry and Jason on the lobster boat! What an incredible impression the two of you have left on our two little boys after our lobster tour with you. It was an incredible experience for our boys and I think the way the two of you explained things so well has left memories with them that will always be there. They often talk about "Barry and Jason" and will sometimes pretend they are you guys. It brings an incredible warmth to both Heidi and myself that both of you are still talked about so much by our boys... all because of the professionalism and kindness you showed while we were on the boat with you guys.
Congratulations to both of you on a job well done and Thank you again for making the boat experience for Jake and Liam an everlasting memory!
