The 45 minute tour concentrates on a more in depth look at Lunenburg’s Historic waterfront. For those with limited time, we offer this tour which starts with the boarding of the Chris L and an introduction on the features of the boat and safety procedures. Upon leaving the dock, we tour along the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Town Lunenburg and its historic waterfront. Commentary is given on the active fishing fleets and the fish processing plant while you enjoy the view that most only see on postcards. Our crew will then take you to where their traps are set and haul a few, giving a brief explanation of the lobster fishing life style. A brief pause in the tour allows for photo opportunities. Pose with a live lobster or take your own picture of the famous Lunenburg waterfront. The boat passes closely by the Battery Point Lighthouse for more photo opportunities before returning to our berth.
